You have never been to Sungai Rengit if you have not tried the seafood here!
Pekan Sungai Rengit was a pure fishing-village (Kampung Nelayan) until late 80s last century.
Today, the scenes of fishermen sewing the fishing-nets, hanging the net high up on pulley-pull-stands are almost, if not at all, impossible to be spotted. It is, however, still famous for its seafood.
Seafood restaurants could be found in and around the central of Sungai Rengit. All within walking distance! So, DO NOT bother to hire a cab just to reach one of them! :p
